Çalismamizda, cerrahi-patoloji sonuçlar gözönüne alinarak preoperatif dönemde pankreas duktal adenokarsinomlarinin tanisinda ve rezektabilitesinin degerlendirilmesinde BT sonuçlarini konuyla ilgili literatürlerle karsilastirdik. Ocak 2002- Mart 2003 tarihleri arasinda klinik açidan pankreas adenokarsinomu süphesi bulunan toplam 36 hasta (11 kadin, 25 erkek) inceleme kapsamina alindi. Olgularin yaslari 37-78 arasinda degismekteydi (ortalama yas 60.75).
In this study, we evaluated the detection and resectability of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas by computed tomography with surgical-pathological correlation and compared our results with related references. Between January 2002-March 2003 a total of 36 patients (11 female, 25 male) clinically suspected as having pancreatic adenocarcinoma were included in the study. The age of the patients were between 37 and 78 (mean age 60.75). All patients were examined by CT and the diagnoses of all patients were evaluated by percutaneous biopsy, surgical exploration and histopathological examination. In this study, for the detection of tumor CT we determined 97% sensitivity, 91% accuracy and 94% positive predictive value. Accuracy was 77.8% for the evaluation of resectability and 100% for nonresectability.
