Kaposi sarkomu genellikle cildi tutan, sistemik multisentrik ve yavas ilerleyen bir tümördür. Ekstrakutanöz Kaposi sarkomu en sik lenf dü- gümleri, gastrointestinal sistem ve akcigerleri tutar. Gastrointestinal traktin en sik tutulan yerleri arasinda ise mide ve duodenum gelmektedir. Bu yazida dispeptik sikayetleri nedeniyle yapilan üst gastrointestinal sistem endoskopisinde Kaposi sarkomu saptanan bir hasta sunulmustur.
Kaposi's sarcoma is a slowly progressive systemic multicentric tumor which usually involves the skin. The extracutaneous Kaposi's sarcoma involves lymph nodes, gastrointestinal tract and lungs at most. The most commonly involved parts of the gastrointestinal tract are the stomach and the duodenum. In this article, we present a patient who was diagnosed as Kaposi's sarcoma by the upper gastrointestinal tract endoscopy that was performed because of dyspeptic complaints.
